
Michelle's Bio
M. Michelle Aucoin graduated cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota in 2017. Prior to pursuing her legal career, Michelle spent two decades as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leadership across five industries, gaining deep insight into business operations and executive decision-making. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. Although her academic focus included Elder Law and Federal Indian Law, Michelle found her passion in civil litigation. Prior to founding her own practice in 2021, she contributed to a wide range of personal injury cases at several respected local firms. In recognition of her dedication to underserved communities, she received the 2020 “Going the Distance” award from New Mexico Legal Aid for her tenacious volunteer advocacy.

Michelle has called Santa Fe, New Mexico home since 1995. A devoted Iyengar Yoga practitioner, she finds joy in traveling, oil painting, baking artisan bread, and wandering the enchanting trails of the Land of Enchantment alongside her three beloved dogs.
